Got Your Back NetworkProject Gratitude 2014 – Got Your Back Network (GYBN) in partnership with Miss America through Sharlene Hawkes hosted ten surviving spouses of the fallen to a weekend surrounding the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, NJ on September 14th. The spouses were treated to special events, meals, makeovers and the pageant thanks to donations from GYBN, Caesars Entertainment, Veteran United, the Weinders, and Laura and Michael Fleiss,
Kathleen Gagg, Executive Director of GYBN, planned, coordinated and ran the event. The surviving spouses came from all across the United States to take part in this unforgettable experience. They were all crowned as honorary “Miss Americas”.
