One of the many challenges that “Families of the Fallen” face is dealing with the myriad of money related issues like housing, bills, education, insurance and savings. Got Your Back Network is partnering with Wells Fargo to provide financial literacy programs that will be available all across the United States and can be accessed at any Wells Fargo office and online. A very personal approach is to stop in a Wells Fargo office and talk to a representative about the programs that they offer.

Wells Fargo also has a selection of seminars to choose from including but not limited to: “Budgeting and Savings”, “Get Smart about Credit”, “Identity Theft”, “Can I Retire”, “Investment Basics” and finally “The Financial Aid Journey” which is about FAFSA, the college financial application.

Online resources include: “Hands on Banking”, “Hands on Banking for the Military”, “Path to Good Credit”, “CollegeSTEPS Program” and “My Retirement Plan Tool”.

Wells Fargo provides these services and programs as a free public service:

Hands on Banking (www.handsonbanking.org<http://www.handsonbanking.org>) – an interactive website with financial education, account management tools and information to help you manage your money

Whether you’re on active duty or are a veteran or military family member, you have a lot on your plate. It can be challenging to manage your money and get the personal finance guidance you need. Our free, fun Hands on Banking for Military program shows you helpful steps to take before, during, and after deployment; how to maintain good credit; the basics of taxes; and more.

Path to Good Credit – Wells Fargo has launched (Path to Good Credit), a series of interactive websites that offer consumers information about building and improving their credit.
CollegeSTEPS Program (www.wellsfargo/collegesteps<http://www.wellsfargo/collegesteps>) – provides college planning and money management tips for high school, and college students and parents

My Retirement Plan Tool – (www.wellsfargo.com/investing/retirement/tools/my-retirement-plan<http://(www.wellsfargo.com/investing/retirement/tools/my-retirement-plan>) – Whether you’re just starting to plan for retirement or have been saving for years, My Retirement Plan makes it easy to take the next step in planning for retirement. While most online retirement planning tools offer a one-size-fits-all approach, My Retirement Plan provides a realistic savings goal tailored to you — and a realistic plan for pursuing that goal.
We are so grateful and honored to be working with Wells Fargo and thank them from the bottom of our heart for supporting these families.
